Local Press remains silent on Glodis firings
Two days ago Zoback over at WoMag wrote up preliminary details of a mass firing in the sherrifs department where a full 25 employes lost their jobs. The interesting part was the ultra douchey thank you note from the New England Police Benevolent Association, to Glodis for not including any union members in the cut. Apparently part of a deal reached with the dept earlier this month. Now a full two news days have gone by with not a word from the T&G.
Obviously, they’re busy with important stuff like Turkey News and Christmas Tree News. But you would think with all the attention given to local politicians personal lives as of late, maybe a few lines could be donated to Sheriff Glodis’ professional life. I can’t be the only one waiting to hear this story.

Don’t wait for the Glodis Gazette to write anything negative about the Sheriff! Anyway I don’t think Glodis has much of a future left in politics, he has made to many enemies in the Democratic party and he has been unable to reform the Jail as he promised! The Sheriffs Office could be a place that Republicans could get a foothold in Central Mass but the GOP in Mass. is to dumb and lazy to pull it off! Glodis might be able to keep his job as Sheriff but his days as a legislator are over and that is good news for Central Mass. and the Democratic party! Glodis’ best days are behind him, he’s old news!
And it goes without saying that the T+G’s best days have long ago passed by, they are nothing more than an annoyance to the good people of Worcester, Central Mass. and the NYT! If the T+G goes out of business it wouldn’t big news it would be more like a mercy killing!
…and Gordon makes his triumphant return…
By the way that’s wouldn’t BE big news. Internet Police? I’ve never committed a felony on line!
Gordon, we have our eyes on radioball.net
The Worcester Internet Police only allow free speech in the Worcester internet tubes when it is not critical of our Dear Elected Leaders or the Worcester Police Dept. including all related unions and special interest groups.
We here at the WIP headquarters urge you to be a passive denizen of the Worcester internets, Gordon. You have nothing to fear from the WIP if you tow our line and restrict your “free speech” to positive things about our city.
The Airport is some real good news isn’t it? ^5’s for Tim Murray, Iron Mike O’Brien and Jim McGovern! Well the Municipal elections are right around the corner, and it looks like Q et al is going to run a slate of candidates, running on PILOT, Charter Change and a single tax rate! I like the tax idea but PILOT and Charter Change no not again, I gonna call Q’s slate “The Hotel California Coalition” you can leave Worcester for 3 decades and can count on the Municipal elections when you come back will be about PILOT and Charter Change! They can never leave! Looks like another good year for incumbents!
Only Gordon could celebrate MORE power going to the local Dems. 95% of public offices isn’t enough for a proper dictatorship.
Oh, by the way, Dianne Williamson has made an ass of herself with her constant anti-Glodis rumor-mongering so I hardly think that the T&G loves Glodis.
lincoln you obviously don’t read the T+G much Williamson is a columnist that tags guybee once and a while but you never see anything negative about Glodis from the T+G’s political reporters!
No what I celebrate is the laziness and outright babytalk that comes from GOPERS because they can’t win elections! They’re to dumb!
Happy Holidays lincoln!
