Just noticed the Major Taylor Association has a new batch of its limited edition Major Taylor cycling jersey available for sale on the site for $79 including shipping.

    79 bucks per shirt? That’s probably more than Major ever made for winning a race.

    I don’t see myself in one, but it’s pretty cool as far as biking shirts go.

    He was an aamazing guy with an incredible story, but like a lot of people, I’d never heard of him until a couple years ago when local publications started giving him some ink. Makes you wonder how many other hidden historical figures this city has.
