Bishop to continue exploitation of Audrey Santo

The T&G brings us news that Worcester Bishop Robert J. McManus is willing to continue the exploitation of this woman’s tragic life by the charlatans who profited off her suffering and continue to do so after her death, through acceleration of the canonization process.

Members of the organization — the Little Audrey Santo Foundation Inc. — said they decided they will make a pitch to the Holy See’s Congregation for the Causes of Saints after Bishop Robert J. McManus on Thursday officially “recognized” the group as “a private association of the faithful.”

Diocesan officials said the designation gives the foundation canonical standing. That’s important because the canonization process is usually initiated by the bishop, who oversees the locale where the candidate for sainthood died or is buried; a religious order interested in nominating one of its own, or by a private association.

There’s not much about the shameful abuse of this child turned side show act that hasn’t already been discussed and I still have no idea how these people sleep at night. The whole charade was summed up best by Penn Jellett of Penn & Teller in their Showtime program “Bullshit” which covered Audrey Santo some years back.

Audrey died on my birthday. She died so that I could eat cake. I suppose that is another example of “victim soul” exploitation.

Over the weekend a friend of mine told me her hangover induced headache had finally abated while we were speaking on the phone, so I’m pretty sure I’m a victim soul-I always knew there was a reason Jesus wanted me to be a cripple.

You can leave gifts on my doorstep, and I’ll be setting up an online shrine devoted to myself, complete with a Pay Pal account so you can all make donations.

    God Bless!

Only an asshole would disparage the Santo family and a little girl who someday will be a saint!

I was a member of Audreys ministry for a few years. It took a long time for me to be convinced it was all true and not a hoax. I believed but was still sceptical and that ia a natural feeling.Statues don’t weep oil on there own.Guess what they did. There has been five Eucharistic miracles that happened there, for those who do not know what that is it is when a consecrated host bleeds. The first one happened to Bishop Flanigan after Mass there.I attended Mass there one Saturday and the chalice began to weep oil to the extent that it just pooled in the Priest hand. The Church would not take part in trickery like that. I have so much to say it would take too long but I will pray for you who do not believe. It changed my life forever. They take donations because it is a real world and it takes money to support the ministry and the insurance and the lights and etc.just like it cost you and me.God Bless
