If you don’t get it right the first time
A group from NASA’s Ames research center has proposed releasing octafluoropropane (I think they made that up) into the Martian atmosphere, so when we really run out of space here on Earth in a few hundred years things will be toasty warm for our arrival.
This raises some really cool possibilities when it comes to the study of evolution, which is otherwise pretty much impossible to study.
